Option #1: If you are a Manager: Do you ever go out after work with your team members? Or, are you friends with any of your team members outside of work? If so, do you struggle with maintaining boundaries between “boss” & “friend” or do any of your team members struggle with this boundary? How can you effectively lead your team in an approachable way, while still having clear boundaries between being the “boss” and not the “friend” in the workplace? Please be specific.

Option #2: As a manager, you will have a variety of different personalities on your team. How can you manage and coach team members who may be older, have been with the company for a long time, and are set in their ways compared to new employees who may be younger, tech obsessed, and have an entirely different way of working? Also, how will you get these employees to respect each other’s differences and productively work together (think back to Week 6 Complementary Strengths)?Please be specific.
